Overnight in Luang Prabang

Breakfast is at hotel. Today we rise a bit early to see alms giving ceremony, it is good chance to learn about local culture when monks are in saffron robes from Luang Prabang’s temples walking in long silent processions searching for offerings left to them by the faithful. Return hotel for breakfast before strolling around Phousi Market for interesting trading activities, drive & en-route at some ethnic villages to unlock the culture & local life. Continue to the most beautiful Kuang Sy waterfall in Laos, enjoy swimming and cooling down for a few hours or you may want to trek down the jungle trails to visit black bear sanctuary (included) and witness how it’s being protected.

Evening, enjoy set dinner at a selected local restaurant before we go to stroll at Luang Prabang night market for shopping.
Overnight in Luang Prabang

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Our tour guide and driver will be meeting you at your hotel’s lobby at 8.00am then we’re heading out to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. The gate is atop 4 giant smiling faces then particularly visit Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone and admired by interesting surroundings such as the terrace of elephants, the terrace of the leper King, Baphuon and Phimeanakas. Continue to reveal the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple adorned by the stunning tree roots, and where Lara Croft – Tomb Raider was filmed.

Afternoon, we visit the magnificent Angkor Wat – the largest religious monument, also well-known as the 7th Wonder of the World’s. This incredible complex was originally constructed as a Hindu temple of god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. We unlock the greatest history, observe the unique architecture, styles, decoration and so on. Resume visit beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng (limited allowance & touristy) or go to Pre Rup temple for sunset or skip it if you feel tired.
Overnight in Siem Reap

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 8.00am to a nearby countryside for guided walking tour a local market before we get on the awaiting oxcart to experience a short oxcart adventure through rural village to interact local people, see animals, fresh vegetable gardens and rice fields dotting with palm trees. We end the oxcart ride at a family’s house where we enjoy fresh coconut juice & tropical fruits. Next, continue to Kompong Phluk; one of the stilt house village located at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. We process to embark a private sheltered boat, enjoy sightseeing along the canal before the excursion reaches the stilt houses. The boat slides slowly through high stilted houses, come across the highlight of fishing activities. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home. Resume by canoe to explore the mangroves with pleasant surroundings, we may see water-birds and monkeys before we dock to our regular boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap, unlock Tonle Sap’s eco-system and its rich biosphere.

Late afternoon, visit Cambodian Liqueur workshop where you have a chance to test many different liqueur flavors and followed by finger snacks. Continue for guided orientation at the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving centre displaying various defined handicraft and silk products, continue to stroll around old market for shopping and see daily trading.

Evening, transfer to have Khmer set dinner followed by Apsara traditional dance performance at Por Cuisine restaurant.
Overnight in Siem Reap

Note: Kompong Phluk is available in high water season (October to December). Alternatively, Chong Kneas floating village is replaced if your travel period is not occurred within October to December and be aware there is no canoe and no mangrove at Chong Kneas village.

Breakfast is at hotel. Our driver (no guide) transfers you from hotel’s lobby to Siem Reap domestic airport for flight departure to Sihanoukville of Cambodia. Once you arrived in Sihanoukville, you will welcomed by our driver (no guide) at the arrival gate then we go straight to Buva Sea Cambodia’s office where you wait to get transferred to the ferry pier for the departure at 2.00pm to Koh Rong Island.

After an hour ferry excursion, you will be greeted by hotel’s staff who will assist you with all your luggage to the hotel for check in and have free time.
